Salem Witch Trails

The Salem Witch Trials is one of the most famous past American tragedies. In 1692, the community of Salem, Massachusetts. It was a series of people that got falsely accused of practicing witchcraft. The people that were actually the offenders got off with with absolutely nothing. Because of there lies it cost 19 people their lives, and there families pain. This relates to the world today because Innocent people get put in jail and the crimmials get off with nothing. Also in the trails the preachers are corrupt. Preachers are not ment to hang people they are there for confort and support.

Reading and watching the movie I learned alot about the Salem Witch Trails. Before I read it I didnt really no much about it. I realized that the trails were acullay with a jude and everything. All in all I really enjoyed this project.

Shattering Glass

Hatred. Neglect. Ugly. Nerdy. All these things are involved in high schools today. All kids get bullied in one way or another. Some more than others. Even though schools try to prevent it, there is no preventing it.

In the book Shattering Glass a boy named Glass is one of those type of kids that is not really in the cool spectrum of the school. Glass had no friends, no one to talk to. But there was a sudden change in Glasses life. A new kid moves to his school, soon to take it over. This new king of the school helps Glass move up in the social society of his school. But as he moves up the social ladder he forgets is values and morals. It gets to the point that all of his old friends betrayed him. Sadly glass was beat to death by a group of boys with baseball bats. Just for the lust to be popular.

This book reflects the real world very well. In today's culture the urge to be popular has taken over the high schools kids lives. Also kids that wernt popular before get blinded by the glamor of being popular it blinds them from there old friends and totally neglect them.
